Step 1: Select Your State

This garden planning tool offers customized planting dates and instructions for crops you select based on the last spring frost dates in your local area. This planner will also provide you with your "GNumber," a two- or three-digit number that represents the number of days into the year that your area's last frost occurs on average, which you can set as a cookie in Gardenaut to customize some features of the blog.

This planning tool currently covers the continental United States. If you're gardening in Alaska or Hawaii, we encourage you to check out our Alaskan Gardening Resources or Hawaiian Gardening Resources pages on Gardenaut. If you're gardening in Washington, D.C., we recommend choosing Maryland, and setting your station as Baltimore.
